At the quarterly meeting of the Auckland Licensing Committee to-day the chairman, Mr Wyvern Wilson, S.M.. said he noticed one licensee had had two convictions in six months, but no step had yet been taken by the police to have his license forfeited. "The correct procedure is for the police to call upon him to show cause why the license should not be forfeited." he said. "Are such steps being taken?" Sub-Inspector Scott: Yes. At the annual meeting in June. The chairman: Proceedings will be taken? The sub-inspector: Yes. sir. The chairman: Very well.
