For what is believed to be the first time in the history of New Zealand, quadruplets—three girls and a boywere born at the Dunedin Public Hospital to-night. Dr. J. B. Dawson, professor of obstetrics at the Otago Medical School, said there was every prospect of the infants' survival. The boy was born first (weighing 41b lOoz), and then the girls, weighing 41b soz, 31b 15oz, and the last 41b 9oz. Mr and Mrs George Johnson, the parents, were married 10 years ago, and have two girls aged eight and six.
