H.M.A.S. AUSTRALIA AT BALBOA
DUKE FLIES TO GATUN LOCKBALBOA, March 4. A message from H.M.A.S. Australia states: "We arrived at Balboa with 100 per cent, fuel reserves and took in sufficient fuel to take us to Jamaica, where we will fill up. "The dislocation of our schedule, due to the Seth Parker .ncident. brought no dire dietary -esults. True a we have had no eggs or fresh fruit since mid-February, but there is ample tinned fruit. It is sufficient to say that choice roast beef and roast pork at last night's dinner showed how we!] the commissariat has husbanded the ship's -esources. "The Duke of Gloucester in the morning flew in a United States cmphibian to the Gatun lock, where he re-embarked.'
JOURNEY RESUMED (Received March 5, 8.30 p.m.) At Sea (aboard H.M.A.S. Australia). The journey was resumed after the Duke of Gloucester had re-em-barked at the Gatun lock.
