DELEGATES' MEETING i Mr E. King presided at the monthly I meeting of delegates to the Suburban Cricket Association, held in the Pioneer Sports Club rooms last evening, when (here was a large attendance. The Ashbu'rton Cricket Association wrote accepting March 30 as a suitable date for a visit of junior and third grade teams to Ashburton. The teams will be selected from the junior teams and a team from players under 20. Messrs W. Whitford. J. Steere, and J. Donaldson were appointed to select I the team under 18. The junior team j which played against North Canterbury | were approved as the junior team. Mr A. Cullen was appointed as manager I for both teams. The final j ments for the trip were left to the emergency committee. Four cases of failing to forward results of matches were reported by the register-keeper and a fine was imposed in each case. The provision of the ball for the extra round of matches to be commenced on March 1(5 was discussed at length, and it was decided that in all matches in the eleventh round of senior and junior games, and in the third grade games, the fielding side should provide the ball for their team.
