PAPANUI DOMAIN
USE BY WAIMAIRI LEAGUE CLUB Permission for the Waimairi League Football Club to have the use of the Papanui Domain during the coming football season., and to charge tor admission should any big matches be set down for that ground, was given at a meeting of the Papanui Domain Board last evening. There were present: Messrs W. J. Walter (chairman), W. G. Chapman. G. Donaldson, and R. Kilpatrick (secretary). A deputation from the Waimairi League Football Club waited on the meeting, after first having inspected the ground with the members of the board. It was stated that the club had been raised from junior to senior grade in the League competitions, and the deputation asked that the dressing accommodation at the domain should be improved. There was a possibility of some good matches taking place there and the deputation asked that a charge should be allowed to be made at the gate for one or two of the more important matches. The requests werej granted.
