WEDDING

WEAVER—RYALL St. Patrick's Church, Greymouth, was the. scene of a pretty wedding on Saturday morning, when Eileen Alice, second daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Ryall, Barrytown, was married to Henry Gray, second son of Mr and the late Mrs J. Weaver, Blaketown. The Rev. Father McKeown performed the ceremony, and also celebrated Nuptial Mass. Miss Moira McSherry was organist. The church had been decorated by friends of the bride, with pink and white madonna lilies and roses. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of ivory macador cut on classical lines. The cowl neckline was caught in place with a spray of flowers and was finished at the back with rows of covered buttons and loops. The sleeves, which were cowleli to the elbow, were tight-fitting to the wrists, and were finished with buttons and loops. The closely moulded skirt fell from the knees in soft folds to form a long train at the back. Her long veil of white tulle was edged with embroidery, and held in place with a cap of lace caught at the sides and finished with a circlet of orange blossom. She carried a sheaf of Belladonna lilies, begonias, and asters. The bridesmaid, Miss Margaret Ryall, wore a soft pink taffeta frock, cut on princess lines with a waterfall frill at the front and back of the skirt, and puff sleeves. Her close fitting cap of cameo pink tulle was finished with a garland of flowers to tone, and she carried a bouquet of begonias, cyclamen, and roses. Mr J. Dwan carried out the duties of best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at Herb Moore's Cabaret, where the bride's mother, Mrs J. Ryall. received her guests, wearing a frock of navy marocain patterned in lemon and red, a navy swagger coat, and a navy hat. She carried a bouquet of carnations and zinnias. Mrs T. A. Tate, aunt of the bridegroom, wore a marina green ensemble finished with metal buttons.
