A motor-car was accidentally driven into the Avon river last evening by Mr Sinclair Saggers. Full details were not available last evening, but it is understood that Mr Saggers was trying to turn the car on the Helmore's road bridge when the accident happened. There was also a young woman in the car. Both experienced a wetting, but neither was injured. The car was still in the river early this morning.
