MONTE CARLO

TO THE EDITOR OF THE WtZSS. Sir,—May I crave the hospitality of your column for half an inch just to correct a mistake in my last letter on the Monte Carlo dispute? The word "Thirteenth" was an obvious mistranscription, whether my own or not I cannot at the moment say, since the original manuscript is now out of my hands. Those who are interested in the matter, however, will find a full account of it in Baring-Gould's book, "The Riviera."—Yours, etc. MARGARET MACPHERSON. March 1, 1935. (.If the manuscript Mrs Macpherson refers to is that of her letter, the mistranscription is hers.—Ed., "The Press."]
