The Board of Governors of the Wellington Technical College is anxious that art bursaries should be established in New Zealand, and after a short discussion on the subject at its meeting this week it decided that a deputation should wait on the Minister for Education, the Hon. S. G. Smith, with a request that such bursaries should be established. The chairman of the board (Mr W. H. —' the cM.-'z'.ot of the college (Mr R. G. Ridling) are to arrange the personnel of the dc- ' '-n.
