FLOWER SHOW A.N EXCELLENT DISPLAY (:')'EI.IAL TO THE PRESS.: <~ BLENHEIM, March 1. Although there were not large enfries for the Marlborough Horticultural Society's aster show held this afternoon at the Plunket Society's rest room the blooms were of good standard and made a very pleasing display. Classes for other blooms had been provided, and there were particularly i!i:od entries in the dahlia sections. Entries in the aster classes were not ;.-<.od and blooms were of inferior standard. The special prize given by Ali.-s K. Barry for six asters was won !,v Miss Jean Duncan, and the special by Mr W. E. Gascoigne for three decorative dahlias was won by Mrs A. J. Mill;-.
