The Gale avnved here yesterday afternoon from Westport with bunker coal. She is to sail to-day lor Dunedin, Oamaru, and Timaru. The Storm discharged sheep at Pigeon Bay oativ yesterday morning and arrived at Lyttelton later. She sailed for Dunedin. The Ngakuta is due here to-morrow from Dunedin to discharge cargo from Adelaide. Having completed discharge of her cargo of Australian hardwood, the Mcrnoo left LyHelton last evening for Grevmouth. The Waimarino is now due here on Wednesday from Bluff, Dunedin, and Timaru. She will load for Auckland. The Awahou is to load here on Monday for Waikokopu and other East Coast ports of the North Island. The Holmdale, due to-morrow from sou I hern ports, will load on Monday and sail for Wellington, Picton. and Wanganui. The Karetu is due here on Tuesday from Auckland and Wellington, and is to sail for Dunedin. ARDKNVOHR TO LOAD After discharging New York cargo in Australia for the Federal Company, the Ardenvohr will return to New Zealand next month to load under the agency of G. H. Scales, Ltd, Her loading ports are not yet settled, but she will be sailing about the end of Majch for Dunkirk, Antwerp, and London. MARINE EXAMINATIONS The following certificates were issued by the Marine Department during February:—License as colonial pilot, Mr J. Benton; mate of a Hometrade ship, Mr J. J. Carlsen: firstclass oil engineers, Messrs R. H. Burt J. T. Weir, and G. E. J. Montagu; restricted limits oil engineers, Messrs R. G. Pilling, A. R. K. Turner, and E. R. Hope; signals only, Mr A. W. Benton. ANTIOPE WITH BITUMEN The Antiope was to leave Auckland yesterday for Wellington to continue discharge of her bitumen cargo from Tampico. She leaves Wellington on Tuesday for Lyttclton, ■ Timaru, and Australia to complete.
