over-supply. Possibly one of the causes is that a big proportion of the entries comprise light bodies which suit the suburban trade. There is always a Kale for this class at some price, whilst it docs not take many of the 10001b to 10501b bodies to satisfy the trade. A helpful factor in the market, possibly, is the colder weather that has set in. Most of the ordinary conditioned steers were looking much fresher than for some time, due doubtless to the "nibble" of young feed they have been dble to get this last three weeks. All good beef on Wednesday ranged from 22s per 1001b upwards, and there was a lot of serviceable quality at round about 20s to 21s.
