PROGRAMME FOR TO-DAY The summer meeting of the Banks Peninsula Racing Club, to be held on the Motukarara racecourse to-day, will attract widespread interest, and there should be a large gathering of racegoers. The track is stated to be in excellent order, following the recent rains, and the .well-filled fields in all events should assure some keen contests. The win and place system of speculation will again be in use. A special passenger train will leave Christchurch at 10.55 a.m., arriving at Motukarara at 11.45 a.m., and the return train will leave Motukarara at 5.20 p.m., arriving in Christchurch at 6.20 p.m. The following horses should race prominently in their respective engagements:— Motukarara Juvenile Stakes: Owlsgleam, Malvasia, Gold Label. Terawera High-weight Handicap: Chidden, Moonbeam, Top Rank. Wairewa Handicap Trot: General Sarsfield, Wee Wrack, Handicapper. Peninsula Cup: Fracas, Silver Sight, Sam Smith.
Ahuriri Hack: Emissarj', Capital, Wino. Kinloch Handicap: Manetho, Imperial Spear, Heather Glow. Waihora Park Trot: Argolis, Cam Dillon, Our Fay.
