The "Argonaut," published weekly in San Francisco since 1877, has changed its editorial policy to include one -t story a week, beginning early this year. This is a return to the original policy, for when the 'argonaut" was founded fifty-seven years ago by Frank M. Pixley, it ha* - * devoted to fiction, and among its early contributors were Mark Twain, Bret Harte, Ambrose Bierce, and Gertrude Atherton^
