COMPLETION OP THE TAKAHE
TO THE EDITOR OF THE PRESS. Sir, —Please add my humble 2s to the list for finishing the Mount Summit work. I have always felt deeply sorry that Mr Ell did not receive more support and encouragement in his lifetime than he did, for he has done splendid work that is a lasting tribute to his patience in face of much difficulty and want of funds. Hoping that others will rally to the cause and send in what they can spare, if it is only a few pence. Every little helps.—Yours, etc., I'M HAPPY WHEN I'M HIKING. February 28, 1935.
