♦ The president, Bro. M. Grimes, prosided over the annual meeting of the United Friendly Societies' Council, 20 delegates being present. The annual report and balance-sheet were adopted. Two needy brothers wrote thanking the lodge for assistance granted, and one brother applied for assistance.
