SHIRLEY GARDEN WINS COMPETITION FOR FOURTH TIME.—The garden of Mr A. Keith Hadfield, Banks avenue, Shirley, has been awarded first prize in section C of the Canterbury Horticultural Society's home garden competition. The grounds will be thrown open to public inspection to-morrow afternoon, when a garden party in aid of the Christchurch Free Kindergarten Association will be held.
