The conversion will take effect from Ist March, 1935. Application for conversion must be made in writing and be accompanied by the securities to which it relates. Dissent from the conversion of any existing Debentures or other securities may be signified by the holder by notice in writing .delivered to the Secretary of the Board at the office of the Board, Breakwater Road, Moturoa, New Plymouth, on or before the 15th day of March, 1935. If notice of dissent from the conversion of any Debentures or other securities is not received by that date, the securities will be converted. The rate of interest on any Debentures or other securities in respect of which dissent is signified as aforesaid will, by virtue of Section 18 of the above-mentioned Act, be reduced to two-thirds of the original rate as from Ist March, 1935. A Prospectus setting out generally the terms and conditions of the conversion is available on application to the Secretary of the New Plymouth Harbour Board. The Board does not wish any holders to suffer the penalties of dissent if exception is taken to the conversion proposed, particularly as regards extension of maturity dates, and has made arrangements for the purchase AT PAR, with interest to DATE OF SETTLEMENT, of the Debentures of any holder who would otherwise have dissented, thus enabling such holders to obtain repayment at conversion date or thereabouts. Further particulars as to the new Debentures and the conversion generally may be obtained from the Secretary of the New Plymouth Harbour Board, New Plymouth, or from Messrs J. H. Francis & Co.
