V HAIIEWOOD CLUB Before the opening of the season on March 10, the summer closing day competitions will be held at Harewood during next week-end. The main event s will consist of two rounds of stroke C play, on handicap, for both the senior q and junior divisions—for which event t trophies will be presented to the winners. Additional prizes will be awarded s for the best cards (senior and junior) returned in the morning and c afternoon rounds. Post entries will be e received at the club house from 9 o'clock onwards. 1 The greens are at present in excel- ® lent order, and the remainder of the 1 course has greatly benefited from re- { cent rains. For these and other rea- t sons a large entry is anticipated. Play j will be in pairs throughout the day. ( J
