EUROPEAN QUESTIONS ONLY
NO DISCIi£SION OF AUSTRIA'S INTERNAL POLITICS I BRITISH OFFlrl \ L U'IRKI.ESS ) RUGBY, February 25. It is expected that there will be a, general exchange of views on various European questions during the visit to London of Dr. Schuschnigg, the Chancellor of Austria, and lierr Berger Waldenegg, the Austrian Foreign Minister, but statements that the possibility of a Hapsburg restoration will be discussed are without foundation. According to the "Daily Telegraph," the Austrian Ministers take the view that Austria does not desire to enlist the support of any country to deal with her internal political questions, and thus the subject will not be raised in London. The Austrian Ministers paid a short visit to the Foreign Office, where they saw Sir John Simon (Foreign Secretary), and then called on the Prime Minister (Mr Ramsay Mac Donald) and Mr Stanley Baldwin. They were the guests of Mr Mac Donald at luncheon at No. 10 Downing street, where they met several other British Ministers.
