Two changes have been made in the personnel of the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Council, as a result of an election which took place to-day. The three representatives of the Auckland City Council—Messrs G. W. Hutchison (Mayor), S. Takle, and H. P. Burton —and the two representatives of suburban local bodies—Messrs I. J. Goldstine and H. F. W. Meikle—were re-elected. The producers, who are entitled to two seats, elected Messrs J. S. Montgomerie and A. C. Trousdale, one of the sitting members, Mr J. Littlejohn, being defeated; while the milk vendors, also with two seats, chose Messrs I. Massey and F. W. Stonex, Mr J. Haslam, a former member, losing his seat.
