ACCIDENTS

KNOCKED FROM BICYCLE Frederick A. Schulz, a middle-aged man, of 113 Opawa road, was knocked from his bicycle by a motor-lorry in Ferrv road, near the Radley bridge, late "last evening. A St. John Ambulance was called, and Schulz was taken to the Christchurch Public Hospital, where he was found to be suffering from a deep wound in his skull, and concussion and shock. About the same hour a taxi-cab was struck by lightning, and its engine stopped.
