♦ SWIMMING. The Lyttelton Ladies' Swimming Club will hold a 25yds race for seniors and juniors, a 75yds race for.. girls under 16 years, a diving competition, and a consolation race at Corsair Bay tomorrow afternoon. Alleged, Theft. After a chase from the township to the engine-sheds yesterday afternoon, the police arrested a man suspected of stealing a parcel of caps from a Lyttelton haberdashery shop.
