♦ . MEETING HELD. The decision to send the secretary (Mr E. I'. Crowther) to Wellington to interview Ministers of Cabinet on the League's proposals was discussed at a meeting of the Port Christchurch League last evening The decision was endorsed by the Executive. Three members —Messrs R. B. Cotton, It. B. Speirs, and E. P. Crowther ivere appointed to address the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce on the League's scheme, the date to be arranged by the Chamber. It was also decided to hold a series of outdoor meetings, at wieh lectures will be given on P.ort Christchurch. Mr C. Pryke's nomination' as the Kaiapoi district candidate for the Lyttelton Harbour Board was endorsed. ,
