LORD BEAUCHAMP.
HEALTH TRIP TO DOMINION. [THE PKESB Special Service.] AUCKLAND, March 15. "I am quite out of touch with affairs, and do not wish to discuss them at present," said Lord Beauchamp on his arrival from Sydney by the Marama this morning. Lord Beauchamp has come to New Zealand to recuperate. During his stay in Sydney lie was compelled to entor a private hospital. He is far from well and will leave for Eotorua tomorrow morning to take a course of bath treatment. Lord Beauchamp travelled from England via the Malay States and Java. He said he was surprised at the dearth of news about Home affairs in the newspapers published out there, and remarked that similar conditions prevailed at Homo with regard to news of value concerning New Zealand and Australian happenings. - He was impressed with thg amount of news which people desired to see published concerning happenings, political and otherwise, in all parts, of the world in the Australian and New Zealand Press. He said he was a strong advocate for a similar service so far as news from this end of the worlfl was concerned in the English Press. - It is eighteen months 1 since Lord Beauchamp passed through Auckland on his.way from Sydney to England.
