Perrin, A. Gooch, G. H: Bartlett, M. Yaxley,'P. H. Flower, A. GBull, W. Dalzel, N. Farrant, C. Clemett, A. B. Clark, J. Schroeder, Fred Lawson, T, Drabble, W. A. Mundell, J. Griffiths, j. J. Trgwin, J. Leitph, E. Barker, and G. E. Persons. Messrs F.,> H." Hay ward and F. J. A£onk,were elected members of the. Association. , ■ Accounts amounting to £66 9s 3d were passed for payment. . , ' The secretary read an interim balance-sheet, showing that there had been a profit of £ls on the show, which was considered satisfactory. The president reported that there had been a net profit of £7 5s on the danoeheld at Suburban Hall, and a vote of thanks was passed to the women responsible' fop organising the dance.''"- ■ It was reported 'that many of the exhibits- in the c Drill «Hall' na<|j been removed and it was proposed- that the exhibits be netted i'a in future. , The question of a school pony team j was discussed, it being pointed out that the ponies should be those used by chldren riding to school. A ruling is to be given at next meeting. The. three bears of nursery legend came to life for the little patients in Epsom Cottage Hospital, in England; on Christmas Day. Thev were taken to the children's ward by Mr Goddard, the proprietor of- the Surrey Zoo- 4 logical Gardens at Chessington*. H® was a .{)atient; at the T hospital recently I when ■ his hand was injured by a lion. The bears, who w;ire . accompanied by a monkey, sat round a table in the ward. and. dr«nk milk from feeding bottles arid, ate. pakes. .One of the bears drank from- a bottle held by a five-year-old patient* ' '
