QUESTION OF CANCELLATION. It is not yet certain whether the annual Inter-University Easter Tournament will' be held this year or not. Tho executive of the Canterbury University College Students' Association could make no statement last night, as it had been decided that until the four University Colleges had come to somo agreement, no announcement would be made. A telegram from Mr J. Nigel Wilson, a tournament delegate of Auckland University College, stated that it was thought inadvisable to abandon the Tournament this year, as arrangements had already gone too far. OTAGO STUDENTS FAVOUR SUSPENSION. (PRESS ASSOCUTIOK TELEGRAM) ' DUNEDIN, March 14. The Otago University Students' Association decided against sending a' team. to the annual inter-University tournament in Wellington at Easter. This decision was reached this evening following a recommendation from the Canterbury College Tournament Committee that the holding of the Easter tournament be suspended until further notice. In common with the Canterbury College Committee, the Otago Students' Association feols that in view of tho economic situation it is not justified in sending a team away. AUCKLAND OPINION. (PRXSS ASSOCIATION TSMSOBAV.) AUCKLAND, March 14. Mr. Nigel Wilson, an Auckland delegate to the University Conference, states that the University tournament should proceed, as arrangements were too far advanced to permit of cancellation. , \ \
