A day oi excitement followed the release of 20 political prisoners. A platoon of the Irish Repubican Army, which the late Government declared to be an illegal body, paraded the streets in the city without interference. The newspaper, the "Republic," appeared in its old form. The sudden change in conditions is keenly resented by Mr AV. T. Cosgrave's supporters.
