Tlio following resolution was carried at a mass meeting of about 5000 people in the Domain this afternoon, at which addresses were given by Trades Union leaders:— That this meeting of Auckland citizens protests against the Govern, ment's intention to amend the Arbitration Act in the manner proposed, and its expressed intention to impose a further cut in Civil Service salaries and wages, and calls upon all'persons concerned to support their national organisations in any combined resistance that may be deemed neowtary.
