» —- CIRCULATION IN' AUCKLAND. (PRESS TKiKHUK } AUCKLAND, i March 12. The police received complaints this week of counterfeit Australian florins circulating in Auckland. Some have been received daily, by. the, banks. The florins are desqribed as the best imitation yet seen. 1 . Alt axe dated 1927 and when rung'the sound-is.similar, to the genuine ones. The milling is also much better than on most spurious coins, but the silver coating wears ott fairly quickly.
