Stroud as 'the counsel for the plaintiff,', and Barnard Manning as the usher.-On Wednesday afternoon and eveninjr and on Thursday night' the company will appear-in a revival of "The Yeomen nthe Guaul," which is regarded by many as tho finest result of the, partnership of Gilbert and Sullivan. Playgoois of Christchurch will be glad to know that the D\ C. Williamson, Ltd., management is acceding 'to the request of a large number of.playgoers for au additional performance o-i "Tho ' Mikado," which will be presented again on Friday night, and the season of "The Yeomen of the Guard" will be reduced to two nights and one matinee on Wednesday afternoon and evening, and Thursday night. Fully 1000 people were unable, owing to the heavy demand for seats, to obtain, admission to the Theatre Royal during the run last week of "The .Mikado!' and the extra representation will •giyb" these people an opportunity to enjoy the .'Japanese comic opera. Those who have ; already reserved seats for Friday next may have them exchanged at the box office.
