A .shop in. Birmingham • was stormed by 1000 men lately, in response to an advertisement offering a permanent position at £2 a week and commission to experienced men. Applicants were told to bring their own bicycles. The police had to be called to control the throng of men and cycles. Twelve mew only were required, and these were quickly selected.
