IS HEREBY GIVEN that at * ±i Special Meeting of the Heathcote Comity Council held on the 11th day of March, 1932, the following resolution, to take effect US a Special Order, waS pttSßed, and Vvill bo submitted for confirmation at a Special Meet-' itig of the Council to be held at 6.65 p.r on tfttlDAY, the Bth day of APRIL, 193_, in the Council Office, 178 Manchester street: Whereas ths sum df One Thousand Pounds (£1000) raised by tho Heathcote County Council In 1922 for the purpose of Electric Works at Mt. Pleasant becomes due and pavable oh the Ist August, 1932, and whereas the Sinking Fund set aside is hot sufficient to Meet Such payment, the BUm Of Eight Hundred and Fifty Poinds (£860) is required for sufth purpose. Now, therefore, ths Heathcote County Council in exercise of ihe powers vested in it by "The Local Bodies LofthS Act, 1926," and "The Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926," and thereby the sanction of "The Local Government Loans Board" has been duly obtained, dated the 10th December, 1931, the Heathcote County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order: 1. To raise a loan of Eight Hundred and Fifty Pounds (£850) for the purpose of redeeming the outstanding balance of a loan of .£IOOO (Oiid Thousand Pounds) raised on the Ist August, 1922* alld maturing on the Ist August, 1932. 2. That such loan be known as the Mt. Pleasant Nd. 1 Electric Repayment Loan, iooa. 3. That the term of the said loan shall Hdt> eftceed Ten (16) years. 4. That the interest on tho said loan shall be at a rate riot exceeding Five Pouftds and Five Shillings (£5 5s Od) per centum per annum, payable half-yearly, 5. That the form of security for payment of interest and principal on the Said loan shall be by ineans of debentures and relative coupons of a form tn conformity with "The L6cal Bodies Loans Act, 1926." 6. That art amount of Eight.Pounds (£8) per centum per annum be and is hereby appropriated and pledged to be set aSido as a Sinking Fund for the Said Man. 7. That tho Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge as security for tho repayment of the said loan and tho Interest, Winking Fund, and other charges thereon, tt special Mid df One-sixth (1/Olh) of a penny in the pound upon thd rateable vnlue (on Old basis of the Capital Value) of all rateable property comprised within the Mt. Pleasant Riding df the Odllnty of Heathcote. 8. That the Cost of raising the loan and ■ the Intetost and Sinking Fund for the first year Of the Said Loan be not paid out of the loan. . , 9 That the Public Trustee bo and is heroby ' appointed Sinking Fund Commissioner in respect of the said Loan.
