TENT MISSION.
* A tent mission was opened last evening in Colombo street north, by Mr Harry Dawson, an Australian evangelist. The singing was conducted by Mr J. Cole, Miss Hazel Smith acting as the pianist. Mr Dawson was assisted in tho service bv the Ecv. A. 8. Wilson, the Bev. B." M. Wilson, and Ensign Wilkes, of the Salvation Army. Gatherings will be held each evening.
Some Gloucestershire Scouts and Guides lately organised a Buy British Display in their company headquarters at Tetbmy. Seventeen shops accepted an invitation to exhibit the British wares on stalls in charge of Scouts anu Guides. Over 300 people visited the exhibition, and orders were taken for purchases. There was also an Empire pageant, when Guides represented the Dominions bringing their produce to Britannia.
