▼ I RUGBY. t KAIAPOI CLUB. ) The anhual meeting of the Kaiapoi Eugby i Football Club -was held on Thursday night, 1 Mr H. Rinaldi presiding over an attendance • of thirty members. The annual report and balance-sheet, the latter showing a credit balance of. £26 6s 3d, were adopted. Mr H. Rinaldi was elected a life member. The election of officers resulted:—Patrons, the Hon. D. Buddo and Mr R. W. Hawke, M.P.; president, Mr H. Rinaldi; vice-presi-dents, Messrs G. Forrest, G. McNally, J. RMurphy, J. Mealings, J. H. Blackwell, W. C. Tourell, G. Clarke, G. Simpson, A. S. Logan, and J. D. McCurdy; club captain, Mr J. R. Murphy; vice-captain, Mr L. Rinaldi; secretary, Mr C. Gordon; treasurer, Mr J. ' Tait; custodian, Mr J. R. Murphy; general committee, Messrs G. Logan, S. Robson, I. Richardson, D. Beer, and R. Taplin; deie-« gates to Canterbury Rugby Union, Messrs J. R. Murphy and H. Rinaldi; hon. surgeons, Drs. M. Ramsay and M. Aiken. Opening day was fixed for April 2nd.
