ance, and after the inspection, gave a very interesting address on unconsciousness, which was mutfh appreciated. Nursing Divisions. The Christchurch Nursing Division met as usual on Monday evening, in the Brigade rooms. Mrs Bell, A«ady Superintendent, presided over an excellent attendance of members. A letter was read, asking members to assist with the Mayor's Distress Bund, on March 18th, and several members offered- their services. Next Monday evening Dr. Jessie Scott will deliver a Corps lecture in the Navy League Hall, all members being asked t 0 at-. Public duties were then arranged for the week-. The work of the evening was devoted to squad practice m firstaid stunts, under the supervision or Mrs A. Bishop, Lady District Superintendent, who later congratulated members on the efficient manner in which •'they had carried out the work. Members of the Selwyn Nursing Division met at the Brigade rooms on Tuesdav evening. Mrs Angus, Lady Superintendent, presided over an attendance of 33 members, and after public duties had been arranged for the St. John Free Ambulance, Mr J. Dickson Corps Superintendent took the work of the evening, which consisted of first-aid and artificial respiration.
