NEW PLAYMOUTH HIGH SCHOOL.
OLD y BOYS IN CHRISTCHURCH. A decision to form a Christcliurch branch of the New Plymouth High Scliool Old Boys'. Association was made at a meeting of about 20 old' boys 'the school at Canterbury College last night. Mr .1. W. Ewart presided. The objects of the Association, its outlined in a constitution approved by the meeting, are to establish a band jof union among former pupils.-of -the school, to afford a channel "by Tvhicii old boys may ibe aware of each other's addresses and present circumstances, and to afford former pupils an opportunity of testifying their interest in the school and its present working. All old boys and previous masters will be qualified to become members. Officers were elected as follows: Patron, the headmaster. Mr W. H. Moyes; president. Mr J. W. Ewart; vice-presidents; Dr».JS. F.. ®oOkegljind Messrs H. R. Billing. A. W; Diproee, A. J. Papps, A. J. Johnson, and H. M. Thomson; secretary and treasurer, Mr W. E. Parrott; Messrs J. K. O'Dea, J. \V. Syme, and.E, WTonks. ' _ To coincide with the jubilee celebrations at New Plymouth next Easter, which mark the fiftieth anniversary of the foundation of the school, it was resolved to hold a dinner on, the Thursday prior to Easter, " Several; reunion functions will be held later in the year. ■ - ; ••• '■
