UNION METHODIST CHURCH.
The recently-erected schoolroom for the primary department of the Union Methodist Church, Addington, was officially opened by Mrs J. M. Campbell. After brief devotional exercises the. new room was opened by Mrs Campbell, who dedicated the building to th« "glory of God. and the use of the little tots. The Rev. E. W. Hames then conducted the congregation and friends through. the building. At a short service in the church the junior'choir sang a . chorus. Mr J. Yoss, vicepresident of the Conference, read the Scripture lesson, and Mr J, 11-. J ones, treasurer, gave the financial statement. Mr 0. Hall, president of the Worth Canterbury. P. de Berry gave an i,address on the joy of creation, of and of sacrifice, which required to be held together in love. Mr Hames returned thanks to all who had assißted that day, and practically to the many workers- who in voluntary labour and gifts had made possible the erection of the building. --
