VENICE.
w "Venice, the City Beautiful," is the subject of a public lantern lecture to be given to-morrow evening by Mr T. Queree, of Wellington, at the Theosophical Hall, Cambridge terrace, near Manchester street bridge. Venice, the strangest and most beautiful city in Europe, stands to-day as an example to the rest ot the world, showing that in the planning of cities, not only can great beautar be blended with utility, but that it is necessary to -the lives of- the inhabitants.
