PUBLIC NOTICE is heroby given 'that pursuant to the provisions of Section 76 of the Rating Act, 1925, by a resolution of the Eyre County Council passed at their meeting on March 7th, the penalty of 10 per cent, will be imposed on all this year's rates unpaid on or before March 26th. Ratepayers are reminded that the 121 per cent, rebate given under the provisions of the Finance Act, 1931 (No. 4), will be allowed on all this year's general rates paid before March 26th, but after that date and until March 31st, a net rebate of only 21 per cent, can be given owing to the imposition of the penalty.
