MR LLOYD GEORGE.
RETURN TO ACTIVE POLITICS. (Bitmsn ornciAX wireless.) (Received March 10th, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, March £>. Mr Lloyd George has now fully recovered from his serious illness, and is expected to return shortly to Parliamentary work. The luncheon of Liberal members of Parliament, which ho attended to-day, is regarded as a prelude to his return to politics. [Mr Lloyd George's serious indisposition began on July 28th last, when he? entered a private hospital to undergo an operation, which was performed succcssfullly the following day. Ho made a good recovery, but his convalescence was prolonged, keeping him out of the turmoil of national crises, both financial and political. He did not appear on the public platform during the General Election, but had to be contented with broadcasting a manifesto from his homo at Church. In November he made a recuperative trip to Ceylon, and on the way received a civic welcome in Bombay.]
