The subscribers' list continued to 'show a falling tendency, but the brisk demand for casual seats at 'concert* had largely compensated for the shortage Otherwise. - Assisting"artists* during the aeason had included Mesdwnes A. C. Hoysey and L. A- Wellbrook in vjolin _ apd ) piano duets, Miss Merle Miller (dramatiesopranol, and Miss Lilian Hanham (soprano); at the - concert on August 6th;sr. Miss Aileen Warren, ac pianoforte soloist at one of the concerts arti honorary accomp&mst throughout the season, had rendered woaderful service. ; Grateful thanks were accorded Vo all helpers at the fpur concerts. The Cathedral Choristers wfio, under the training of Dr. Bradshaw, Thaii assisted. as- .usual, at concerts, proved again their immense value to -the choir, the« f»»h voung voices* rbeing ,an and delight to-all listeners.
