If is an ideal story for Miss Bennett, giving her splendid opportunities to display her tListrioni.: talents, her charm, ' and her ability to • wear clothes smartly. There are many tense moments in the picture which •Atiss Bennett puts over skilfully. In fact, throughout the play she gives a fine performance. "Tho Common Law" was adapted from Bobert W. Chambers's famous book by John i'airow. While the story has been modernised it still retains the vital situations of the original novel. The bo* plans are at The Bristol. "Ex-Bad Boy" is the present feature.
