LIFE-SAVING.
NEW BRIGHTON CLUB. The New Brighton Surf Club has fixed the competition for the Wigram Bowl for Saturday afternoon. The competition is open to schoolboy members and to club members eligible, lor the Benson Shield. After the contests competitors and their parents will be the guests of the club. Training for the competition is taking place every evening. Teams have been selected as follows:—No. 1 team: J. Cooks (belt), Sam Besley (line), B. Bisman (reel), and I. Mclntbsh (subject).
