OTTAWA ECONOMIC CONFERENCE.
o MR THOMAS TO ATTEND. (UK3TED PRESS ASSOCIATION —BY ELECTHIO TELEGRAPH —COPYBIOUT.) LONDON, March 7. Official circles describe as malicious gossip Liberal and Labour newspapers' hints that Mr J. H. Thomas (Secretary of State for the Dominions) is not going to Ottawa. The Australian Press Association is informed that Mr Thomas throughout is supervising theOttawa arrangements, and there is no shadow of doubt that he will be one of the delegates. ' The suggestion that Mr Neville Chamberlain may also attend is discounted by the fact thmfc the Chancellor of the Exchequer in July will be busily occupied with international finance matters.
