Workmen discovered ancient graves in three parts of Britain a few weeks ago, all on one day. One was on a hillside near Brighton. Men digging a trench there found the skeleton of a man of the Bronze Age laid in a ahallow grave. Another find " was at Upton Colliery in Yorkshire, where a skull and part of the skeleton of a prehistoric man were found six feet deep, with somt? shaped pieces of flint near the bones. At Prestatyn, in North Wales, a 1000-year-old skeleton was found about five feet below the surface, buried in a layer of shingle, experts declaring it to be the frame, of a young warrior of the Viking period. His teeth are. perfect. A well-made javelin lay by him.
