A cutting from a Home paper has been forwarded, stating that. Mr Alexander' Miller, High Blowhill, Newmilns, has sold his famous collie dog, Ben, to a New Zealand farmer. Ben has gained many notable competitions for Mr Miller in all parts of the United Kingdom. v He won the international championship, and was second in the national championship at the great, sheep-dog trial organised by the "Daily Express" in conjunction with the International Sheep-dog Society at Hyde Park, London, last September.
