DELAY AT CANADIAN END. [From Otra Parliamentary- Reporter.} WELLINGTON, March 8. Numerous enquiries are being made as to when the Canadian trade agreement is likely to come before the House of Representatives. "So far as New Zealand is concerned," said the Hon. W. Dpwnie Stewart to-right, "I have been ready to submit the agreement to Parliament tver since Parliament opened. Some delay has occurred at the Canadian end. I have telegraphed the Hon. H. H. Stevens several times, stating we are ready to complete the matter. I, gather from his last reply that ,he bad difficulty in getting it submitted for approval by tho Canadian Cabinet, owing to pressing political problems taking precedence. He* promised to telegraph in a few days, and I am awaiting his reply."
