Gjlby (Avon) represented New- Zealand -at the British .Umpire Games at Hamilton, Canada. The : selectors of the crew were Messrs G. H. Hobbs, H. Ayers, and A.; T. Evans. The following , were the results of the concluding events at the regatta on Satur-day:-—f ./Youths' 'Fours—Canterbury- (I, G. Smith, S ; - W. Oori M. Hunter, L. Hosking) X; Union 2, iAkaroa S. Avon was fourth. Can-terbury-went to the front early ; and held the lead to win by four lengths, with three lengths between Union and- Akaroa . Maiden Double .Sculls—Avon- (K. Brown, A. Andrews) 1; Lyttelton No. 1 2; Canterbury No. T 3:' Lyttelton No: 2 was fourth in a field of eight. ■ Avon won easily bv three lengths, with -Canterbury a length behind Lyttelton. Junior Fours—Akaroa..(D.. Reid, W. W, Eeid, E. 1 Keegan,: F. Fyfe) 1; Canterbury 2; Union 8. Avon also started. Akaroa had the race in its keeping and won bv three lengths. Union was two lengths behind Canterbury. i Light-weight "Jlaidon Double Sculls--Union (J. Seelen, L. Hampton) 1, Avon 2, Car.le~bnry S. Won by four lengths, with Avon a length ahead of Canter'mry. . ■ CUP POINTS. The Union Club, as the result of llio. points .won on Saturday; has now 51 points to H* credit "in the competition for tho D.C.L. Cup, which is awirded for the greatest number of points won by clubs at the season's regattas. Union is thus still in the lfit,d, Avon (44), .Akaroa (40), Canterbury (32), Lyttelton (4), Sumner-Eedcliffs (1), and Cure (0), following; in that order.
