Albert William Gauntlet, a labourer, aged 24, and Thomas O'Loughlin, a bricklayer, aged—22, charged with using indecent- language in a public place on Sunday evening, j were each fined £2, in default 14 days' im- I {.risonment. They were allowed time in which to pay the < fines. Gauntlet was remanded until March 10th on a charge o£ stealing , three keys, /-valued at 6s, the property of I Ernest James Fisher. TRAFFIC CASES. The following charges of breaches of the traffic regulations were dealt with: Acceptaing hire within 20 yards of the rail-way.-station and not on stand—Charles Atkinson, 10s and costs. Driving in a dangerous manner—Francis j Vincent, 10s and costs. | VOLUNTARY APPEARANCES. Cycling without light—Alfred Charles Hill, fired 10s and costs; Frederick Waters, 5s and costs. Cutting corner—Clifford Trott, 10s and costs. Parking within 20ft' of an .intersection— j Alexander Dawson, fined 5s and costs. MAINTENANCE COURT. (Before Mr H. P. Lawry, S.M.) For disobedicn'ce of a maintenance order, Edward Manning was convicted and ordered to pay costs; similar charges against Henry Jc'i.eph Morris and Jaiyes Tasker Harris were dismissed. An order for the maintenance of a child was made against E. H. Martin, at the rate of 10s a week. A similar order at the u.te of 10s a week was made against James McAteer.
